Investigation the Effect of Boric Acid effect on Antioxidant System, HDL Levels and PON Activity on Rats Feding to the High-Fat Diet

Recent studies have revealed that boron compounds can be effective in the treatment of obesity, which is known to one most dangerous and complex health problems this age. In study, therapeutic effect molecules diet on obesity was investigated.
 For purpose, effects Total Antioxidant Status (TAS), Oxidant (TOS), High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) levels paraoxanase (PON) activity were investigated mice fed a high-fat diet.
 The study material 40 Sprague Dawley rats 4-5 months old with mean live weight 226.95 ± 5.75 g. Animals divided into 4 groups as Group I (normal diet), II (High fat), III fat + Boric Acid) IV (Boric Acid). Six weeks after experiment, blood samples taken from animals TAS, TOS, HDL PON measured samples. addition, changes recorded.
 At end we found boric acid given addition drinking water did not significantly change TAS level activity, but increased TOS levels. average group treated decreased.
 As result, an antioxidant system, it caused increase decrease activity. lowering body weight.
